I love skincare. Being a Beauty Therapist I love taking care of my skin and nurturing it and I love finding new products that help me out. Over the years theres been a few products that have just stuck with me and I love them to pieces.
My first must have is the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser. Completely worth the money if you’re looking for something to control breakouts if you have oily skin. It is a high end product so not so good if you’re on a budget! It has very fine particles to exfoliate and smells lovely. I find it doesn’t strip the oils too much but gives you that nice clean feeling.
Next up is the Elemis Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream-Oil – again expensive – retailing at £49 for 30ml. More-so an anti ageing product but it feels like a fast absorbing oil but applies like a cream – the best of both worlds! I would use oils so much more but I hate the greasy feeling – however this soaks right in and is fab for plumping skin and helping cell turnover.
Your wallet will be glad to know that this one is a fair bit cheaper than it’s sisters up above! The Soap and Glory Puffy Eye Attack – it’s also available in a similar mask form for all those who don’t like eye creams! This feels very light weight and I love the bouncy feel of it. A little goes a long way! Retailing at £14 it’s a much more economical skincare product that does its job! I love using this when I’ve been ill or I’ve just slept too long!
Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel – I apologise for another high end but this is something you want to invest in. Super gentle on your skin and smells absolutely incredible. The enzymes from the papaya ‘eat’ up the dead skin cells and debris, leaving you with smooth skin without all the irritation that comes with traditional exfoliators. Leave on for 10-15 minutes and let it do the rest! To help it along I like to use stipple circular motions around the 10 minute mark to really get off them dead skin cells. Whats more you only need a small amount. I use this every 2-3 weeks and this 50ml tube has lasted since Christmas. You only need a 20p amount each time and it does the job!
Your Good Skin Balancing Skin Concentrate – this is a lifesaver for me. Guaranteed to improve your skin in 28 days. It even comes with a little countdown on the side so you can see when your 28 days is up! Suffering with acne for years, this really did help balance everything out for me. Okay it didn’t cure it but my skin was left feeling so much better afterwards and breakouts were shorter and further in-between.
So that is my holy grail products, what are yours?
